With this philosophy, we have created hotel complexes that respect the environment in which they are located, while adopting modern practices for environmental protection in terms of energy saving, efficient use of water resources, recycling of materials and application of organic farming rules when growing of our products.
In addition, the GHotels chain invests resources in the research and development of technologies to protect and improve the environment, ecology and quality of life in general, and uses certified protocols and targeted measures and practices as part of a current environmental awareness policy.
For more than 30 years, we have been producing high quality and nutritional agricultural products with great pride, a high level of environmental awareness and traditional environmentally friendly cultivation methods on a private plot of 150,000 m2 near our hotel facilities in Halkidiki.
Taking into account the protection of the natural environment and the health of our guests and our employees, we grow fruits and vegetables in the traditional way that our chefs use daily in the dishes of our restaurants. Products of the day, freshly cut vegetables, fruit and herbs form the basis of the Mediterranean cuisine and the dishes prepared by the award-winning chefs of the GHotels Group.
Our gardens offer vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, rocket, a variety of peppers, broccoli, beetroot and eggplant, which give our dishes a special taste and aroma and the basis for delicious and nutritious products form salads we prepare for our guests and create a healthy and delicious menu.
Fruits such as apples, pears, peaches, nectarines and grapes straight from the garden are the best way to complete breakfast or a healthy dessert, and the most delicious base for homemade jams that we prepare especially for our guests.
In addition, please do not forget the many olive trees both inside and outside the hotel, that annually supply us a high quality and valuable olive oil, which we use for cooking and for the fresh salads.
